This folder contains PICT files of many of the October 1990 products. They are divided into two types: 32-bit color scans and 8-bit grayscale scans.
For users with a color Macintosh system, the color scans will provide you with a colorful tour of the new CPUs and monitors introduced in October 1990.
For Macintosh Classic, Plus, SE and SE/30 users, and those systems with a monochrome monitor, the scans in the 8-bit grayscale folder will provide the same visual tour of the products, but in a smaller format, in 8-bit grayscale images.
IF YOU HAVE A PRINTER WHICH SUPPORTS GRAYSCALE PRINTING, THE PICT VIEWER APPLICATION OFFERS A PRINT OPTION.
You will want to copy the contents of the folder named COPY INTO YOUR SYSTEM FOLDER unless you already have 32-but QuickDraw installed, or are using a Macintosh IIci or IIfx which have this capability built-in.
At the time of production of this disc, only a single, black & white front-on photograph of the Macintosh LC was available to be scanned. That scan is located in the 8-bit grayscale folder.
